VisionWith our organisation we want to try to improve the quality of life from people with HIV in and around Kajjansi. We would like to start by breaking the taboo around this theme that still prevails. People often do not dare to assert their positive status, so they miss many help. By talking about this subject and giving information sessions we want to try to make this issue discussible. This will mainly be done by members of Hope Foundation Kajjansi which will be trained to experts. In addition, people with HIV who are members of the organization can count on a lot of help in several areas, including food distribution, drug distribution, consultation opportunities.

MissionHope Foundation Kajjansi has been raised up by people who are standing unconditionally behind the value ‘respect’. It has a very important meaning: respect for life. We believe that everyone is entitled to a happy live. This happiness should be completed by each individual on their way. Because of this, we also focus on autonomy. All cultures should retain their individuality. This is also a kind of mutual respect. All parties believe that people with HIV struggle with their specific difficulties. These people often suffer from prejudices, should be more careful to infections, have higher costs on health care, it is more difficult to find or keep a job… That is why this organization wants to commit trying to reduce the payload.
